“Please make it fun”
Would this lead to a game about being a border control agent in a fictionalised soviet country?
I very much doubt it.

I would rather have “normies” then the terminally online divorced from reality late 30 something weirdos with opinions that range from “yikes” to “please keep 100 miles away from a school at all times” users currently making up the majority.

Gaming subs were loving all the AI supported piracy the last couple days.
That and making up excuses defending Valve for selling AI slop.

And just like that
G*mers are back to hating AI

People pay to put a game on Steam.
The more games being sold on Steam, the more money valve gets.

It’s been coming for a long time. Steam always had a slop problem since the greenlight days.
The reason so much shit got onto the platform was by exploiting the trading card system, and Valve allowed it.
Eventually Valve realised they could get more money by just skipping the vote, and allowing people to just pay to get their games on the platform.

That hurts Valve’s bottom line.
Never going to happen

This is the exact same attitude they had to the deluge of unity store asset flips (well they actually tried to blame unity for that, but I digress)
Steam gets their money either way.
And that’s what Lord GabeN needs to buy another super yacht for himself, and more Aston Martins for his son to race.

Literally the same thing publishers and Steam did to build a PC gaming monopoly.
They know G*mers are dumbasses

Aw dude

G*mers are ok with AI if it allows piracy.

They voted this guy in twice.
Don’t overestimate how stupid Americans can be.

No one should be surprised.
Man’s got a massive ego problem, and has done for years. Of course he’d think his AI code is good.

Sounds like the average Lemmite

I explained why the pic isn’t relevant. But I understand you G*mers have short attention spans.
All those youtube shorts you watch about your anime gacha games.

Valve used the same exclusivity deals Gmers complain with Epic. Valve stops games being sold on other platforms for cheaper. Valve paid publishers you use steam as DRM for physical releases to force people into their ecosystem, to the point that when a game has its own launcher from the devs, gmers call it third-party.
Also that image just proves my point. Uplay and Origin were just their attempts to recreate Steam’s path. But because of the monopoly and brainwashed G*mers, it didn’t work.
Including Epic with that makes no sense. It’s still alive. The only reason it’s there is because it’s seen as a Steam competitor, and the marks need to bury it. Like WWE fanboys anytime another wrestling company is mentioned.
Nintendo. The fuck is that doing there. The Switch 2 has sold great, coming after the original Switch the second best selling console of all time. There’s no reason for them to be there. Again outside of brainwashed PC G*mers that need an enemy.
Sony. The PS5 is the 8th best selling console. And that image was made way before the current controversies. Which is ironic considering you’re defending Valve. A company that killed physical PC releases.
Xbox. That’s Microsoft. Windows is everywhere. And the Xbox game pass has done great. 30million users from some basic research.
All that image proves. Is that Steam users and PC G*mers are so brainwashed and divorced from reality. They need to create fake scenarios and narratives to defend the monopolist hellscape the PC marketplace has become.

The previous generation was dumb enough to accept Steam’s monopoly.

You guys do know a patent isn’t a declaration to implement it?
Like you know that Sony TV ad patent that gets brought up every now and then as “The dystopian future of watching TV”. Yeah that was in 2009.
If you’ve ever actually read any of the books you’d know that using these laws as actual laws is a dumb move. The paradoxes caused by them are a pretty central theme.
