For me it’s mostly music and videos I can play when I don’t have a connection.

You’ll need a lot more than 2000 for that.

They’ve still got the PC release and new online versions coming out later.

They’re thinking that the chatbots are just a few weeks away from making hiring people obsolete so they can finally get infinite money forever.
So, not thinking at all.
No, they were rather explicit in that we should not have the ram we have.

There are already industries balking at having to pay for the chatbot tokens even while the chatbot companies are still hemorrhaging money. It will quickly become non-viable for almost every industry.
The only ones that should continue to worry are the entertainment industry. If companies can get the copyright laws changed to be able to own chatbot content, they will go hard into making it impossible for actual people to make money in the arts.

Right, we agree. It shouldn’t be thinking for us since it can’t think.

All the more reason not to allow it to think for us.

For that to work, they’d have to be a viable choice in the first place.

The chatbots don’t have those because they don’t have anything worth paying for. Ebay, Google and the like all had something people really wanted so they were able to weather the bandwidth costs until they didn’t have to anymore.

Isn’t one of their towns giving votes to corporations?
Like, what the hell Delaware? Why do you keep ruining things for the rest of us?

They were back then. Only the ones that got so big they could negotiate their bandwidth costs or even buy out ISPs made it out alive. Everyone else was sunk by the exponential bandwidth costs.

It will be an end to trying to force chatbots to do literally everything. It will not be an end to the chatbots.

It’s fairly likely that if they’re asking about “AI” hoping for a cheerleader response, they won’t be looking to pay you what the position is worth.

Obviously, the chatbots aren’t increasing metrics. So they have to get drastic to force chatbot use.

Probably why they lost the copyright.

They’ll connect themselves to any open Wi-Fi it can see. Plus it stores text of your conversations to send later.

They’ll try to connect on their own if there is any open Wi-Fi anywhere near you.

Sci-fi Pascal’s wager. It even has the same flaw. If you don’t actually believe, how do you expect to fool the superintelligent being that you did all along? Whatever it is could tell you’re faking.
Too late.
