I’m not Admiral Patrick of the former dubvee.org I just play along to waste the time of those who believe they are successfully harassing him.

1·18 hours agoI looked into that but unless I’m mistaken, KopiaUI is not a docker app

6·2 days agoThanks, the plan is to give her a hard drive and USB enclosure. I’ll check out SFTPGo, are there any docker apps that serve as an easy S3 bucket?
EDIT: SFTPGo looks great I just tested it out and it’s very simple, thanks for the recommendation!

2·2 days agoAlso I know I could do SyncThing easily over tailscale but I’m looking more for a backup options with scheduled backups.
This tweet did nothing. The “AI” “industry” has always been a house of cards with none of the major players (outside of the chipmakers) coming anywhere near profitablity. This correction was overdue, investors were just looking for a sign and some are just using the excuse of democrats to finally get out.

12·7 days agoPushing someone, even gently, to change something about their routines almost always causes them to become defensive and double down. The most effective way to enact change in someone else is to discuss how the changes you’ve made have benefited yourself.

12·9 days agoThis is my white whale. There is a guy making LineageOS versions of Android TV that seem to work well for some people but in my experience are buggy and I couldn’t get CEC working no matter what I tried.
Libreelec (kodi) works fantastic and CEC is flawless with every device I tested, but Kodi these days is really only good for local media (not Plex, Jellyfin, Youtube or streaming services) and real-debrid.
KDE Bigscreen is my last hope, but it’s probably going to be a while before it’s ready, not even including the inevitable wait for TV-interface versions of streaming apps that can run on ARM (if you’re using a raspi).

1·22 days agoI’m confused about some of these. For example everything you mentioned in the torrent agent (maintaining ratios, watching for new media, seeing what’s popular) are already settings in the *arr suite that uses significantly fewer resources, no?
there’s a home assistant front door agent that can make automations or report sensor state or trigger scenes or entities
This is all basic functionality of Home Assistant, yes? I’m confused about what is the agent is doing?
