Still waiting for them, though.

I get the protectionism against lousy work conditions, lousy wages and lousy quality of some of the items. But still, who do we protect when there are no equivalents in western markets? Who will build & sell me a battery or a display of a years old phone - there will be no huge demand? But yes, you have a good point about environmental aspect, though, TBH is there that big of a difference between the two approaches?

There is a big drawback here - getting spare parts for repair (of electronics) or electronics in general is now much more expensive. Or other stuff you can’t find in Europe.

True, if we have huge surplus of renewables, then the cost doesn’t matter that much.
As per storage. Nuclear is far less problematic to handle in many aspects. Hydrogen is notoriously hard to store and if we go at scale, there would be massive amounts of hydrogen stored everywhere. A tiny spark away of a huge bomb.

No, it’s different with hydrogen. If you want green hydrogen, you’ll waste at least 50% of energy. Then there are storage and flammability etc. We have everything we need for using hydrogen today, but somehow it is not used besides minor experiments.

Even Prepon? I don’t follow the media that much…

No, it does does not. If it did, we’d have it everywhere.

Right, because hydrogen is not working. It’s expensive to produce but most importantly incredibly hard to store and very dangerous if it catches fire.

Chinese as software developed by VW in cooperation with Xpeng for their Chinese vehicles. A little bit misleading title.

Can confirm, Slovenia.

The downside is also that they are not good in either season.

Yep, the big ones (MS, Google) don’t give a shit about your self hosted e-mail server and throw all of your mail to spam. They don’t do that with replies though.

There are also all season tires (marked M+S I think) that work through all the year but not particularly well in any season. The problem with changing tires is winter tires life span which is typically 5 years. Thus if you don’t drive much, you end up disposing not much used ones every 5 years resulting in ecological and financial problems.

They totally miss retro appeal and hobbies.

They do realize that all the data is accessible to US spy and other government agencies, right? Mind boggling decision.

Move to Canada or EU 🙃

Not bad, but as Ukraine showned us, any tank can be destroyed by a few cheap drones. Tanks have to adapt.

Weren’t those wrecked in Ukraine? AFAIK there are currently no such tanks out there. Russia is trying something lately.
We do?
