Hah, that would be good!

Hah, that would be good!

It’s so much more interesting to your mouth, try it sometime!

This is the way. Your muscle memory is so ingrained it’s really hard to change how you tie the bow (whichever method you use) but it’s easy to reverse that initial knot. With the Present Holidays coming up, it’s good to know for tying ribbon bows on gifts, too

Apparently it makes your spine very flexible

Do try it but on a protected surface, while wearing gloves. Halloween is the perfect time. I made some black pumps red for a costume once, it worked very well.

All Americans who aren’t fuckwads, get your votes in before November 3rd!
We can’t vote out the moldy orange but we can turn Congress, and we can strip the maggots out of our state, county, and local governments. That’s important to fight GOP gerrymandering and make voting easier for everyone, especially unfairly disenfranchised people. And build “minor leagues” of younger politicians who will soon have the experience necessary to do the actual job of running the country, not ruining the country while grifting and building Versailles.
My ballot “has been received and will be counted.” Thanks for the text, California!
Oh, but if you are a fuckwad, you can skip it. If you’re lazy and you have a Progressive friend, you can cheat off their Sample Ballot rather than bother to figure it out yourself.

You mentioned vegetables, thank goodness, but also have a piece of fruit whenever you can afford it. Good for vitamin C to help you get the iron out of those eggs, a calorie boost from the sugar, and an assortment of other nutrients especially if you vary the fruits. Also a little fiber for your heart and to help move those other foods along in your gut.
If there’s a farmers market in your area, go before closing and ask if they have some seconds they can sell you for half price. This goes for vegetables too.

You don’t know they haven’t just washed their hands. In fact, since they’re about to eat, it’s likely they did. Especially since they specified wings, which are finger food. Are you saying you eat with dirty fingers? It’s never occurred to me to use the airhole to control the flow, and I haven’t eaten in a restaurant for several years, but I’m aware other people have touched any food I didn’t cook myself and it doesn’t put me off.

Maybe if we just apply “you find one cockroach, there’s a million in the walls” to the same problems like bent police and corrupt politicians…

“One bad apple will spoil the whole barrel” desperately needs to be replaced because nobody has experience with storing apples in barrels so when Michael Jackson subverted it they took it unironically and now many people think it means the opposite.
I’m not techy but something about one line of bad code can jank the whole program?

Blowing up or at least weakening a portion of a castle wall during a siege would be useful to the besiegers. Even a small petard could break into a building for nefarious purposes. And being a sapper is notoriously dangerous even now.
Of course Shakespeare could have used the name of a larger bomb, or “speared with his own sword” or something. But Shakespeare’s audience would also have clocked the fact that pétard is a French pun from péter which makes it a fart joke. And he never missed a chance for a fart joke.

Also wanting to eat your cake and have it too is supposed to imply you’re like a toddler having a tantrum because you’re just coming to terms with the rules of object permanence: a person playing peekaboo or hide-and-seek can disappear and still come back, but if you eat your cake it will be ALL GONE!!!

I’ve seen it in the fancy grocery store but it only takes roasting one duck to get a jar full of duck fat. And you will enjoy eating the duck! But you will also have had enough of the scent of duck fat that you’ll be happy to leave it in the fridge or freezer for awhile.

She ought to be careful about blocking the wheelchair ramp, otherwise she’s all good

Abstinence!
Also avoid hanging out with anyone who wears them.

“IDIOTS! I never said streaming, I wanted it to be pay-per-view, all profits to ME!”

If you take the chicken out of the package and drop it on the floor, the odds probably change to “rinse it without splashing, put it in the cooking container and IMMEDIATELY scrub your hands and the entire sink area, then put the scrubber in the dishwasher and don’t use it again until it’s been sterilized.” But in general the less you handle it the better.
Funny thing, most people who wash chicken wouldn’t think of washing a steak.
Side note: one thing people often forget is they touch their spice jars with their chicken/meat/fish hands.

Sometimes my bowl wobbles and the egg doesn’t crack, so I whack the egg with the edge of my utensil. And yes, any shell bits are easy to remove.

You’re more likely to spread germs around your sink and kitchen by washing it. If they splash upwards onto the tap and then get splashed downwards into the bowl where you’re rinsing your salad greens, the salad could make you sick. Whereas the germs on the chicken will die from cooking.
Edit: if you must, I suppose you could set up an outdoor chicken washing place. But do you also wash your other meats?
You don’t want the one in the White House. He’s rancid.
