This will clearly completely upend the ball-on-flat-surface-fetching industry. Investors will be scoring ‘unheard of’ amount of money on this bet…
I’m sick and tired of the Capitalist religion and all their fanatic believers. The Western right-wing/‘liberal’ population are the most propagandised and harmful people on Earth.
Currently they all repeat the same nonsense about world affairs, and none of them have actually sat down and researched what is going on, and why their leaders/media are lying to them. Ex. here is what really happened in and around the Ukraine project: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6-hcqTF_eSc6PIdk3QIwtoxtTK1wr30y
Stop supporting the Epstein Class by giving in to their lies about other nations !

Well, no matter the article, they ARE US vassals after all. They run their nations in a US style power first ideology, with leadership groomed by US power interests, and hence rising from hidden power influences, popularity via ads and lies and so forth. Plocies are largely directed by US interests. They have replaced their own holidays and culture with US for profit holidays and culture, completely surrendered to US information sphere through facebook, X, google search and youtube, are doing what they are told, and so on.
Nothing to see here, please move on…
The old petals framework did that via a torrent like protocol and could even train models over a distributed network, but that was years ago and I have no clue if such a system is viable with all the new features in new models.
My guess is that we could exploit a distributed kv-cache ala deepseek, but they use their own proprietary algorithm for kv storage/retrieval and a huge datacenter, and with only normal internet connections, I’m not sure its viable fir people ?
Big models are a problem, but something like aihorde with smaller models combined with a distributed agentic harness could be interesting.

Not exactly the same, but I have a similar peeve with current good white ‘expats’ in foreign nations vs bad dark skinned leeching ‘immigrants’ in our nations. It’s just legitimized yucky everyday racism… I’m moving to Kampuchea (colonial ‘Cambodia’), and no whites are ever immigrants there - always the very respected expats… Apparently I’ll be the first real immigrant in that nation, go figure…

Fine article. I’ve not been able to follow development in north and south korea, so that part were especially interesting.

…and that means that EU have run dry also. They have a few left but have been sitting in them for years bc there’s no serious production of them. Ukraine havent had patriots for a long long time - years!

I kind of doubt that. None of the closed systems are just the raw model. They are all more or less agentic as in several models and algotithms to optimize the result. Openai havent offered a pure model since gpt 3. If I’m not to be believed, that’s fine, but then closed corps like Anthropic, openai et al shouldn’t be believed either. Unless they can produce an open model at same quality as the Chinese, we cannot be sure what the state of their models really are.
Also, we could argue that deepseek running until it spends as much money as the US agents, will deliver better accumulated results pr coin…
However, i do personally think that anthropic is still in front on weight ‘features’ and thus external control of their models, but qwen also has a feature inspector program, so they won’t be far behind - if at all.
Oc, nobody knows until the closed uckers/ychos release something tangible to measure.

AI can’t handle legacy system quirks, creative problem solving, or massive projects with changing requirements.
I think that disliking ai - for whatever good reason - makes people shun the reality, cherry-pick articles/studies etc, but we have to be honest: We all do that - even when we try to balance it, so that is normal behaviour within a spectrum. However, current anti-ai leaning do end up blinded to how fast things are moving with this technology because it is moving so fast. There are massive burnouts just from those following AI development every day, and they constantly have to expand/narrow their scope. If anyone takes a few days of in their field of interest, it feels like they have to sprint to catch up. It is accelerating and is no longer confined to model inventions from big corps with mega models - developers are building ‘cognitive architectures’ around the current llm’ limitations.
So to me, these ‘AI can’t …’ type of sentences are always changing as they become yesterdays ‘AI cant …’ sentences within days or weeks. It is a great ‘moving goalpost’ tho, as there are a lot of human level evolutionary abilities lacking from current models. But every second, one+ of millions of people are working towards adding that next ‘AI cant …’ sentence to yesterdays claims, and things are moving fast.
I think it is vital for everyone - in all corners of human ‘belief-space’ - to keep in active touch with this technology, as much as they can muster, agree they are angry but try to shake some hard assumptions/‘loosen up’, see where it is headed and adjust their expectations/plans for the future accordingly. Anger is an easy but dangerous thing as it can make us refuse to acknowledge something that we need to prepare for. We’ve all been there - many many times, and we all know how we think and act in anger. Now, is a bad time for that. Please familiarise your self with ai tech.
Not starting an argument/debate (i’m burned out atmo), just a long-winded observation really…

Hehe… Go go China !! Crush those scamming mofo’s from the US controlled sphere of influence…

Sounds more like Nato and the western elite want to get in to Iran’s information sphere, than to let Iranians access western internet and be ‘free’. Iranians are during external attacks against their nation, protected from the information war - just like borders protect from attacks. I’m not assisting the Western elite. I’m out…
Agree, they should learn to de-google asap !
