The funniest thing about this is that it’s grifters grifting people in order use the data they collect to grift other grifters. I cannot picture the “training data” they acquire ever being worth even the pittance they pay the low level marks this ad is aimed at.

If anyone important does get fired they’ll just get re-hired by another company who needs some doofus to fill a position in upper management.

I’m glad for this guy that it worked, but also surprised it worked.

Quite often jailbreaking a device will involve some rather esoteric steps, many of which are actively being patched out by the developer. As such when a LLM tries to piecemeal a guide together from it’s training data you can end up with nonsensical instructions that are cobbled together from many unrelated (and often outdated) methods to a jailbreak.

That’s because the data from the cameras is the product. The fact they can get people to pay to install them is just a side hustle.
