Thank you for providing more context and substance for your use cases since it’s something I have not experienced.
Keeping an eye on changes especially is always a pain.

Ah, thank you for elaborating!
Though I have to say, this seems to be a thing I also created tooling for in the past.
So what I did for clusters was create an optional script where servers could drop a healthcheck if they’re member of a cluster.
The idea was that they are able to check their cluster status, do actions and check if they’re OK again.
So basically a simple framework for what you’ve described and that also was long before llm.
I’m not saying this to discredit, but to add more perspectives.

Funny, those 30 minutes I something I did by default since it feels wrong to directly bring those clean, vulnerable teeth into immediate contact with anything.

Could you tell which field that job is in?
What I’ve seen so far is a lot of people basically getting good starts with something AI but mostly still having to correct too much so that either the prompt takes more work than the actual task or the work thereafter is more.
And I have seen some situations where llm also really made sense and was helping in general, but that was far and in between.

I see the “unless my idol uses it / unless someone good uses it” as a deeply human thing. For me it’s the other side of the coin from not harming oneself in discussion, even if a valid point was brought up.
Few great people do that.
Aliens invade earth, force utopia on everyone.
(short version because long it could get very complicated)
Yes, so its an unknown insane waste of energy.

I went a different route. Let them choke on old information. It’s going obsolete anyway, let’s live on somewhere else.
European here. House with ACs and we use 10 to 26 Kwh per day metered. So to me yours seems awfully high except if you tell me you’re 6 people and using the washing machine twice daily and baking something multiple hours.

Yes that is a good point I noticed all the time when using a foldable. Most uses are just optimized for the standard format. Also phone holders and such.

Well, I’ve tried it (fold6) and after 23 months the inner foil started having bubbles, then it grew to a huge bubble along the crease and shortly after the display below the bubble was black.
So while it worked well and was useful, mostly with watching movies, photos or maps I switched back to a standard phone and would never use a foldable display again since my assumptions were proven.

Thanks, could only see half of it because of paywall.

Oh yeah my answer is poltergeist too. Too early, sucked. Bad sleep for weeks.
Also return to Oz. Those heads…

Rational thought is just not that approved when the perspective is hype and the next quarter.

Everything’s just a speculation object now.
I want to get off Mr bones wild ride!

Yup, we still get fresh arrivals from Reddit. In 2026.

Yeah that’s the thing, if I lower sugar too much or cut it out entirely for like two weeks, I get very moody and depressed as lonefighter described. So much that life is no longer bringing any joy and that’s not overstated. It’s just how my body feels about it - or was conditioned over time.
But it seems you are different, which I am happy for, at least you can avoid that poison.

Yes, exactly this. I get really miserably depressed. I can not stress how much. And if a craving hits in vicinity of sweets or such, everything gets so much worse bo matter the outcome (resist or cave in).
So I settle with more or less controlle dosages.
I concur, but that masking brings so many other issues and stress.
