honestly what you’ve done is what I did too and its not that big of a deal imo. Once you adjust to it. I’d challenge your kids to like take a “cleanse” from social media for example as a family. Maybe go on a camping trip and use 0 tech the entire time. See how they like it. Sometimes people don’t even realize how tech changes their lives until they have a moment away from it.

Honestly kids understand a lot more than people give them credit for. I think if you just explained it to them in plain english they’d get it.

So genuinely I think making a new sect of a religion that is entirely focused on privacy could be a genius move. Maybe the Satanist Church? They’re already a thing maybe they’d be down for it. Then everyone who is into privacy just cites their religious beliefs whenever they get pushback. The religious in the US are like the most protected class of people there is. So taking advantage of that could be super effective.

I think you could easily argue Tenet 3 for this case.

You have a lot of sway as a parent over the school systems in the US so I’d throw a fit. Maybe even contact some other parents and get together to all throw a fit about this. One person is easier to ignore. This sounds like a complete and total invasion of privacy to the point its mentally conditioning your kid to accept just being monitored by the government 24/7 as an adult. I wouldn’t accept it.

Idk if this is TV tho. I think consildiation did a lot of this work. Like radio shows are too regionally huge now. Imagine you had a radio station that both played decent music and it was based in your specific neighborhood/town. It kept you up to date on cool stuff going on there. That would actually be useful to tune in to from time to time. But now its just “that city within 50 miles of me”. Small town radio died.

Yeah it gets odder the more you look at it. It’s a very new repo and apparently got 4k stars. And a few days ago it had half that. It also has 400+ forks for some reason. This is really new, and has a weird pace of development that makes me suspect it is vibe coded. I also doubt its code has actually been audited despite being open source. So while an interesting project I would not run this on your devices atleast as of yet.

Well she would only have been showing for a few months. It’s feasible the parents were making it so no one saw her. Or doing things like keeping visits short and controlled while she’s dressed in something puffy. I’m thinking this is probably how they handled all public visibility. Just keeping her locked up in the house most of the time. Maybe say she’s sick. People like this can be really crafty and sneaky.

I think this mainly comes down to the fact that abusive and manipulative men like this actively seek out women who will do what they say and enable their predatory behaviors.

Do you think they’d count that as vehicle deaths? It seems like emissions and pollution would be grouped together in their own environmental category. As it’s hard to say “This death was due to emissions from this specific thing’s emissions” rather than pollution in general.

Well I didn’t do it because I thought it would be a popular decision. So I’m not surprised you and many others don’t like that I did. I’m starting to think you non-americans are just unaware of what America is like. Nothing I said is abnormal for an American. Going Skeetshooting, going to the range, etc are all normal activities that millions of Americans do regularly. If you own a gun and don’t practice with it then that’s just irresponsible.
