I’ve always been a fan of Motorola - my current phone is the Edge plus and is 3 years old. Had to replace the battery but otherwise a solid phone. My phone budget has been as high as $500 but will never exceed that. 2k for a phone in this economy is beyond unacceptable. Its moronic. Still a phone and nothing special - just incremental improvements. I dont see this selling.

Man, I used to love using Googles ecosystem but recently on Chromecast YouTube they started pushing non skippable politics adds at me like gangbusters… That was the last straw. Finally got all ads out of YT and stopped using Gboard and went back to FF. Getting out of Gmail next. Enough is enough.

To be fair I have heard this same pitch 4 different times since the 1980s and it hasn’t come to pass. We users just get around things by being clever and resourceful. Trust me when the big AI bubble either pops or deflates - they will be right back selling ram and drives for cheap. Someone will for sure make an adapter for all the extra data center ram or something.

Audio book. Preferably something slightly boiring but interesting. Also there’s a first generation antihistamine called Stahist-T. It sucks for sinuses but damn is it great to speed you to sleep.

You still need fiber though. It woud be remiss to give this person a recommendation without considering nutrients. You can’t live entirely on bread and potatoes without supplementing other things.

I managed to keep one. Haven’t had a use case in many years.

The Atari 400 and 800 used a modified cassette player to store and load. It was tremendously buggy with the sync tone that started transfer.

I said the same thing then took the plunge a year or so ago. Now the people that I used to keep up with on FB text and interact directly with me more often even than FB and I enjoy it more… Also don’t have to incidentally see all the assholes in the process.

I don’t agree with this study and I am not a fan of AI. Replace the AI tool that they used with a calculator. You’d get the same results. Here you are legally cheating on some task because you were told to do it - breezing right along thinking of something cool you are gonna do later and then … WHAM ! Cheaty tool gets yoinked. Now fuck - I have to think ? I’d probably think fuck it, I’ll give it a half asssed shot because fuck them for making it not fun.
