That’d be a great way for me to get dragged along, showing some stupid hobbitses the way into Mordor

Her talent is wonderful, a truly hidden artform. It’s a shame the talent show organizer couldn’t recognize that fact.

I can do a pretty decent Smeagol impression, complete with moving about on all fours. There really isn’t a time and place for that to emerge, sadly.

I started my day off by listening to the album Modern Life is Lonely by Holding Absence in its entirety.
I bought my yubikey at least 7-8 years ago and then stopped keeping up on comparisons. I honestly have no idea which is the best, because there are varying use cases and standards available. Yubikey works for my use case and threat model, but I have no idea what would be best for yours. I wish I could be more specific for you but also don’t want to give you misleading info.
Fair enough. I like the ease of simply touching it. It’s less of a frustration for when my wife wants to access my password manager
Same, plus a yubikey for 2FA

I use keepassXC/keepass2android paired with a yubikey as 2FA for a password manager. One Yubikey lives in my PC, the other is on my keychain. I then synchronize databases between PC and Android. There is some friction for use, but I’m personally okay with that.
I use Mullvad for VPN (I know the fascist issues amd haven’t gotten around to switching yet).

Always happy to share and glad you’re enjoying his music!
Education, martial arts training, books, and video games.

Glad I could help! He’s really talented

Almost anything by Nox Arcana fits a Halloween theme.

Gosh, Mom, I can be a shear-thickening fluid if I want to be! Stop trying to make me fit your definition of physical matter!

I think it’s really just if the soup doesn’t conform to the container. That would be disturbing soup

Soup that isn’t in the shape of its container.

Genuinely, I’m impressed and a little jealous. I certainly have a caffeine addiction, at least in the physical sense. I enjoy the ritual of making and drinking coffee and truly enjoy the flavors. However, after about 14 years of daily consumption, my body needs at least 3-4 cups of coffee to feel like a somewhat normal, functioning human. It’s probably not healthy. So I’m impressed when people function without it.

As taught by my dad:
Some people think they’re hot shit on a silver platter when they’re really just cold diarrhea on a paper plate.
I dug into it, and it appears to be a DDG flavor of a DNS blocker (e.g., pihole, Technitium, etc.). It uses a blocklist to block specific tracking data sent from your phoneby comparing those URLs against the blocklist, then preventing the connection if it matches.
You can get the same effect, plus ad blocking, by changing your phone’s DNS to a public DNS like AdGuard, NextDNS, or something similar. You can use a VPN with the same capabilities, or if you want self hosted, run something like pihole or Technitium.
DDG’s service doesn’t seem to be bad, but it is limited in scope.
Disclaimer, I am an amateur in these matters not any kind of expert. I run my own instance of Technitium at home for network wide blocking, but that’s about it.
How did the Welsh shepherd find his sheep in the long grass? Very satisfying.
