Its so fucking stupid. They said no to the billionare tax: then they said no to the first honey pot to remove it; then they said fucking yes to the second honey pot: banning of all new taxes on assets just because people only read ‘it protects your 401k’.

How do people ever think ‘blanket removing the consideration of thing for all time’ is a reasonable move. There wasn’t even an anticipated tax on peoples 401ks thats the whole point of tax advantaged accounts. Just stupid.

Why don’t we also ban the legislature from putting rocket boosters on the earth and crashing it into the sun? Theres nothing preventing this smh crashing out on this ngl

Don’t worry too much about your first language. I hemmed and hawed over it a lot; but eventually if you keep learning most languages are easy to switch to except lisp and that one weird condenced one.

Why not just have a slow release for new games; only have them show up in search results for n users. Then the original and gain traction and get word of mouth before immitators emerge. Not perfect, could use moderation as well, but sorta a temporal patent.

I always thought it was “nip it in the bud” where a bud is the early stage of a plants development / before the flower emerges on a flower. So meaning “kill it before it grows larger and that becomes harder”
