Change brands every time a ceo does something you don’t like. Good way to not have a life.

sure, but all fiduciary money is fantasy money

The argument against proton is much stronger than against mullvad, which was a decision of the CEO using his own personal money with zero impact to the actual product other than public opinion. Though it’s a lot more complicated to replace proton than just a vpn service.

Same feeling here
On Linux and Android, for servers in north and south america, ivpn is by far the worst compared to mullvad and proton. After 2 months using it, I’m not trying it again for another year because I’m better off with either alternative.

Hands duress code
oops, you should’ve been more specific

yeah, I’ve recently sold some things but I asked a friend to do it because I refused to create a fb account. And Craigslist didn’t ask me for ID, but they’re just automatically removing my posts without any reason in sight…

these marketplaces are usually for individuals selling to individuals, like garage sales they’re usually tax exempt afaik
dude, one is like 32GB and the other is 1TB, bigger number wins, take 32

I can’t either way, not at this hour

no, because my immediate first thought was that I’d need to hire two services, I can’t read minds without looking at you

It’s just as easy not any easier because you don’t need to pay or run mullvad yourself.

The point is that Tor is too slow and unreliable for general everyday use.
Apps are not sandboxes unless they’re implemented as such. Otherwise any user process can read /proc/<pid>/comm and list what else is running. They also have access to any location on disk that the user running it does. I wouldn’t call that sandboxed.

You’d think so, but Windows runs better on snapdragon today than Linux. I was very interested in buying one, but in the current state it’s a toy for enthusiasts.

something is wrong with my instance, I’m not getting any ads here

I hope that discourages open source projects and similar communities from using discord as forum / user support.

I support game producers being free to implement whatever tech they choose to work with. That said, I find it kind of stupid to side with NVIDIA promoting their exclusive DLSS over an open standard when the quality difference is only noticeable in side-by-side comparisons.
The game has both DLSS and FSR? Great. The game only has FSR? Well, that’s more inclusive than DLSS-only. Everybody benefits with open standards.
IVPN speeds are pretty bad IME, check if it works for you before committing to it
