This cannot be overstated. The moderation across lemmy especially in popular communities is wildly inconsistent and usually clearly ideologically biased. Very selective enforcement of rules and ToS. Lemmy community mods regularly make the average reddit mod seem professional by comparison.

We hold the democratic party accountable by primarying incumbents with progressives and preventing republican obstructionism. On pc you use third party software to stream, i use Apollo which is a fork of sunshine and Moonlight. As for PlayStation on the PS4 you just used the companion app, I can’t remember if you needed plus or not but I wouldn’t be surprised if you did. PS5 sells a whole peripheral for it but I think you can still use the app. Not sure, PS4 was hostile enough for me to abandon console gaming and return to pc where it’s better and cheaper.

Just be sure to check the rules for the instances and communities you’re commenting in, and report every violation you see. Some community mods take the responsibility much more seriously but you’ll notice plenty that push their agenda. It’s a very small place though and if you get into an argument with a mod’s friend you’ll find yourself banned from communities for nothing.
