Honestly right now my heads at riding out the rest of this phone’s contract (It was a Galaxy A16 I got for free because I needed desperately off my old, end of life S9) and switching to iPhone, cuz that has almost all the security but none of the breakage of a custom rom.

Almost all the other ones are reportedly worse at security than the stock OS, only Graphene is more apparently. At least according to their team, I know they trash Lineage and E a lot.

It’s annoying because I’ve gotten very security-conscious over the last year, but shit like this makes it feel like I can’t achieve what I want unless I get rich.
