I haven’t got a joke, how about a tongue twister?
“When a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, there’s a packet pocket socket racket error to report.”

Invest it in companies positioned to take advantage of a glut of server RAM hitting the market in about 18 Months.

At the bottom of a flooded cave. Cave-divers can do everything right and still die in a hole.

Seems like a pretty good guiding principle, unless you’re the kind of self-serving muppet who skims philosophy texts to find reasons why it’s ethically okay to behave like a selfish dick.
The Death Star is a weapon you can live in. It’s an important consideration.
Maybe I don’t want it faster and cleaner…
Then I choose the pistol (given the name Rimpoche by an AI Bhudda) from Redrobe by Jon Courtenay Grimwood. It provides target identification, auto-aim and sarcasm.
One of the Lazy Guns from Against A Dark Background by Iain M. Banks. Point at target. Pull trigger. Target is destroyed in some ridiculous way, like having a piano fall on it.
But don’t point it at the sun. It doesn’t like that.

I’ll take some garlic knots, thanks. Next time’s on me.
I know a vegan who has ex-battery hens as pets. She’s against taking eggs away from them because it may cause distress, but often they’ll lay an egg wherever they happen to be, and walk away. Those ones are fair game because the chickens have abandoned them, and they need to be collected before they rot in any case.

Some non-coffee people get so smug about not drinking coffee. We wish they’d put something in their mouths other than their opinions about coffee. But normal non-coffee people? I honestly wouldn’t even notice what you ordered.
We didn’t fix it, we just stopped making it worse. It’s still the reason you don’t step outside in the summertime in New Zealand without sunscreen.
Another 300 years and it should be right as rain, though.

Disagree. I think it’s been too long since we’ve had slow-paced thoughtful scifi movies.

Gideon the Ninth by Tamsin Muir. Necromancers in space, an irreverent heroine, a magic system which is clearly thought out but doesn’t get explained in exhaustive detail.
There’s a completely different set of assumptions outside the US.
