Usually when I go back and check something out that I have shunned I feel vindicated because it was indeed awful. Just because it was just popular at the time does not mean it was ever good.

For example Friends, Seinfeld, The Office or The Sopranos are all just unwatchable garbage to me. I did go back and watch Breaking Bad after seeing Better Call Saul, It (breaking bad) was no where near as good (as better call saul) but I didn’t hate it.

I also liked Dexter for a few seasons when I finally broke down and watched it though I admit I have never finished it because it just got so bad.

For the most part though I found I missed very little because what I skipped then still sucks now.
