Science fiction? No, indeed! Based on science fact, travel to the moon is predicted within the next thirty years.

Technically not incorrect – the Apollo 11 mission made it there in 1969, just 12 years after this ad.

How would a dog process the fact we pooped on the moon?

If the moon ever got THAT close, it would definitely be a lot easier.

Moon is the same size as ever. Genetically engineered tiny girl, less mass to get into space. It’s the future.

The things we could be doing now would be pretty great if some greedy bunch of dickheads hadn’t roped everyone into endless pointless wars and completely avoidable hardship for countless millions.

I used to have several World Books I took from someone’s trash when I was a kid before the internet (but long after 1957) and they really were interesting.

I’ve got an encyclopedia set from 1892. Not sure interesting is the word I’d use.

I should start a community just posting interesting articles from it starting from A. It is definitely a product of its time.
