  • See it’s not though and that’s part of my point. Accurately scaling your operation is a huge part of that bang for your buck goal.

Feeding 1000 people three times a day seven days a week. It becomes a fuck it number. I couldn’t probably waste food in that instance anything I have will likely be devoured in three or four days tops.

A family of four is a tighter budget and operation. Food waste becomes a lot more likely and certain items can’t be reused. If I make a bunch of turkey I can reuse that meat for other dishes. Whereas scrambled eggs I really can’t.

So when it comes to a 1000 people fuck it scramble the eggs they’ll eat them. When it comes to a family of 4 that one bird can become three or even four meals and instead of scrambled eggs I can probably use those eggs in a different way to elongate their shelf life. It requires more control and finer tuning which is actually much more difficult in many ways.

They’re almost different logistical issues entirely and requiring different tuning. Which is why it becomes the logistical nightmare that it is, it can feel unpredictable and unreasonable to a lot of people

  • I’m actually a chef or like make food professionally hot. And one thing I’ve super learned from the industry is logistics and both the cost of it in terms of labor, product attainment, storage. Whatever shit

Historically also kitchens/cooks were a huge part of military logistics for obvious reasons and the brigade style kitchen people run today stems from that.

So I think for people they don’t look at cooking as the logistical nightmare that it is, they see the act of make food hot. You wanna buy local, in season, learn ways to store food and utilize as much as possible with little waste to maximize not just general cost but also you make that food last longer. I think someone would benefit a fucking lot making a YouTube channel with this stuff in mind. Not how to make delicious food but how to organize it. Marie Kondo your kitchen basically.

Also the best food is peasant food because historically they had to be the absolute best at the aforementioned logistical nightmare. Chefs can go from the shittiest holes in society to the top solely on their ability to master logistics.

I’m high so I ranted but I find this sorta stuff so interesting and personally something I wish I could do to help people get access to food and financial comfort.

    Damn y’all don’t read.

Go reread that last link. Soviet Russia had already begun a covert operation against Poland. Here’s the appropriate timeline.

1937 - Stalin kills about 100,000 Polish folk living in Russia at the time. This is called the NKVD Polish Operation.

1939(April) - Stalin signals alliance with Britain and France.

1939(August) - Stalin makes his alliance with Hitler.

You people try so hard to defend this man and just don’t know history. They didn’t wanna align with Stalin because his interest wasn’t in fighting Germany or stopping Nazis. It was control and power. He wanted an excuse to push troops into Poland under the guise of fighting the growing German threat and when that didn’t instantly form, he abandoned it and went straight to the Nazis.

Stalin had no interest in avoiding war. He outright went looking for it and tried to place himself in the best position for it. His own actions of murder and deceit is why nobody wanted to work with him.

So no. He did not offer a truce to fight Hitler. He killed 100,000 polish people and then scrambled and panicked that he’d be on the wrong side of the guns when war was going to inevitably break out. Not only did he directly aim to destroy Poland exactly like Germany but he ended up working with them to do exactly that.

Smh trying to frame shit to defend your daddy. Absolutely ridiculous

    Hahahaha no it wasn’t.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_invasion_of_Poland

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov–Ribbentrop_Pact

    And for added lols; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_Operation_of_the_NKVD

They had more than a truce. They had a full alliance. They planned together and the soviets completely engaged in aiding Germany with it’s assault.

It’s also likely Hitler betrayed the Russians and did what he had done because he was on fucking meth. A more level headed leader probably would’ve played the relationship different and work alongside the soviets even longer.

So to reiterate, they formed a full on alliance and focused on the cultural destruction of the Polish people. And it took Hitler on meth to betray the Russians for them to drop the relationship.

And how am I ignoring anything? It’s well known in history how the west aimed to appease Hitler and failed because it was understood how aggressive he was aiming to be and they didn’t want a second great war. It has nothing to do with the relationship between Hitler and Stalin. You’re just trying to smear blame and pull some whataboutism crap. It won’t fly.
