Your bootlicking for corporate execs, not Trump, dumbasd

Asi is an actual industry term
A stupid industry THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO FUCKING MAKE MONEY.
Fucking bootlicker

Huh, I’m the exact opposite.
I’ve managed to kill a couple of flies by swatting them out of the air with my bare hands.
The trick it to get good at swinging a sword. Then when there’s a fly that’s doing the continuous loop thing, get in a spot and smack them with the same body mechanics as sword swinging.

Tbf, the “Hot” feed does use an algorithm, though a simple one that simply weights the upvotes on new posts higher. Plus you’re not required to use that feed

LazerPig? Is that you?

Damn, the parkour in it looks about on par with Warframe

Fuck you, that’s a complete red herring and you know it.
Text books are not the same as notes.
If you’re in a college class, then you’ve already paid to be there. Show up to fucking classes, pay attention, and take your own damn notes.
And if textbook costs are such an issue, then do what my classmates did: figure out how to fucking pirate them. Don’t pay some twatwaffle on the internet that’s generating LLM slop.

Google is all in on AI slop and everyone still uses Google products.
A lot of people are now recommending DDG for search because Google search has become practically unusable

Or make sure to feed them in feet first

Unfortunately there’s a difference between “having fun” and “spending your free time”, a good example of which is doomscrolling.
Pedantry aside, I’m in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), which is one of the largest medieval reenactment society. Most of the time that I’m out of the house, I’m usually going to fight practice or an event (which can be anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks long).
I mainly do armored fighting, so I have a suit of armor that weighs 40-50lbs. And it’s real armor because we use rattan swords that are 2-3lbs and blows don’t count unless you actually hit each other with force. Even with armor, injuries do happen on occasion, including broken bones. I seem to be particularly accident prone though, so ymmv.
But there’s a lot more to do in the SCA. There’s archery, fencing, horse riding, dancing, bardic circles, brewing, arts & science competitions, classes, and just hanging out with friends.
I even make some things for it at home. I recently made a black & yellow gugel hood with embroidery to wear while marshalling (a referee) for armored fighting, and I’m currently making a blanket stitch by hand on the dags of a different hood to prevent it from fraying more. I’ve also made several parts (but not all) of my armor. There’s also a couple of crossbow kits I assembled a few months back that I still need to tweak before they can be used.
That being said, I have to drive long distances to get to fight practices due to living in the middle of nowhere. Between gas prices and lack of time + energy on workday evenings it’s gotten hard to attend so I mainly get to fight at weekend events.
Outside of the SCA, I’m also working to degoogle and need to take a second try at getting a media server up and running soon. I built one a couple years back but wasn’t able to get things set up before more important tasks popped up. Though that’s not really “fun” in a traditional sense. More like “fulfilling”

Nope. Both companies are bastards and don’t deserve my money.
On top of that, GTA5 was boring. I could only ever get a couple of missions in before I dropped it and went to something else. And this happened three times so they’ve been given more than a fair shake.

There’s a community called “Lemmy411” where the purpose is to help people find a comm for a specific topic. If you have something you’re interested in, you can ask for recommendations there.
For me personally, sometimes people will just link various communities, and if it seems interesting and active I’ll subscribe. Tbh, I mainly used the same method back when I used Reddit

responses to medical questionnaires, and it can be shared with 3rd parties according to their privacy policy.
This screams “HIPAA violation” to me

LLMs won’t be uninvented… they’ll just become tools.
Expensive, highly specialized, and sparingly used tools due to needing to reflect their actual cost

Mullvad, AirVPN, IVPN, AzireVPN.
Technically ProtonVPN as well, but according to some users on here they’re affiliated with other organizations with ties to Israel, but likely indirect
Mailbox.org starts at €1 per month.
Other than that, there’s the old adage “if you’re not paying, you’re the product”

I listed out some of their permissions bullshit in another comment

But hoooooly fuck look at the permissions they require in their android app. Why the fuck does a paid-only service require permission for 6 different advertiser services? Or access the compass? Or detect screen capture? Or run at startup?

Personally, lack of podcasts is a good thing. Trying to run both podcasts and music through Spotify sucked. It’s way better to just have a dedicated RSS podcast player like AntennaPod.
I like the idea of access to both streaming and DRM free downloads. That being said, I can’t find any players that support their streaming outside of Google Play.
I’m probably going to end up switching to Tidal since it’s supported by SoundCrowd and just downloading DRM free music from Qobuz since few of the artists I listen to are on Bandcamp
Overall I agree, but it can depend. If you put in a bunch of work to build, design, or restore a car then that’s worthy of bragging. But if you’re just some jagoff who simply bought a mustang, then it’s just weird to brag about
