One potential candidate is the new ID Unyx 09, an electric saloon co-developed with VW’s Chinese partner Xpeng, while the 4.8-metre-long ID Aura T6 SUV could sit above the smaller ID Tiguan in Europe, giving Volkswagen a Volvo EX60 rival.

Saloon is another word for sedan. One of those subtle differences between British and American English.

There’s a third term, limousine, which can be used to describe more luxurious sedans (and not only those with a stretched wheelbase). In some languages other than English, limousine can refer to any sedan, even modest ones.

Car show. Bad translation of the word salon.

edit- never mind, this is describing the car itself, I don’t get it.

They are already doing that with the Cupra brand. So IDK what they mean by getting ready, when they have already been doing it for a while?

“Volkswagen is evaluating bringing some of its China-only models to Europe…” is literally the first sentence of the article

You are making shit up, it doesn’t say “China-only” anywhere in the headline.
And as I mentioned, they already import some of their models co developed in China to Europe.
So what exactly is you point?

You know there’s more information besides the headline right? Lol

So the headline doesn’t have to be correct? Misleading clickbait is the new normal, and that’s OK?

When you are saying someone is making the shit up. Make sure you know what you are talking about.

It’s funny how you are so wrong but still act like not… I guess this is the post truth era. Where people act like fool AI bots

I was referring to the headline being misleading, the fact that it is inside the article does not change that fact.

They are evaluation bringing china only models (i.e. models developed and built to be sold in China) to Europe. This has not been done before. The case you are referring to are models built in China which were intended to be sold in Europe from the start, which is not the same.
